Yoga In Schools

As part of an holistic approach to wellbeing, schools are starting to add yoga classes to their Curriculum and After School Clubs.

 

Yoga helps children to: 

  • Understand their bodies 

  • Develop their posture, strength and coordination, in a non-competitive environment

  • Gain confidence in themselves

  • Cope with stress more effectively

  • Learn to respect themselves, others and the world around them

  • Many more…


I teach Yoga in After School Clubs, Lunchtime Clubs or as part of the Curriculum, to support PSHE recommendations. During the term, classes usually range from four to 10 classes during the 12 week term. Each class is 20-30 minutes, depending on the schools requirements.
